As head chef, you will manage the kitchen brigade in the Tropenpflanzen Restaurant and the Pink Flamingo (pizza, pasta, steaks), coordinate what happens in the kitchen and be responsible for administrative tasks and all processes in the kitchen.

Completed apprenticeship as a chef EFZ and several years of professional experience
Experience as a chef in the catering industry
Creativity and passion in the kitchen
Designing the seasonal dishes, the two menus and the daily menus
Responsible for a smooth and clean workflow in the kitchen
Responsible for compliance with hygiene regulations/HACCP
Supervising the ordering system and checking incoming goods
Checking outgoing dishes for quality, quantity and presentation
Leadership skills / planning & leading the kitchen team

Service

Buffet employee 80 - 100%

Your field of activity:

Preparing / making ready the drinks orders
Taking reservations by phone and on site and recording them in the system
Welcoming and seating guests
Replenishing the buffet / mise en place work
Carry out daily cleaning work
Cleaning and maintaining machines and equipment

What you should bring with you

Stamina and resilience
Efficient, careful and independent way of working
Good knowledge of German and French
Willingness to work irregular hours, approx. 1x room hour per week

Independent running of a service station with collection, good knowledge of German and French is important.
Each member of staff has different duties with and without room hours, a 9-week duty schedule (recurring)
The buffet staff support our service staff with the preparation of drinks.
The restaurant is closed on 24/25 December, but we hold a New Year's Eve party every year.
You work in the tropical plants restaurant and in the Pink Flamingo pizzeria
Starting immediately or by arrangement.
